A friend told me about a local breeder that had French Bulldogs for adoption. I went to their website and looked at their available puppies. Once I seen one I was interested in, I sent them an email. Within 20 minutes or so they had sent me a text asking if that was okay to talk viz text (as well as sent me an email). Which I said okay. I will copy below parts of the emails they sent; ""All puppies are flown in the under portion part of the aircraft which is a safe temperature controlled environment to protect the puppy from stress. If you have finally made up your mind on adopting the puppy We need your full names and address as requested below, The information will also be use at the airport to transport the puppy to you as the receiver. 1) Your Full Names? 2) House address? 3) State & City? 4) Phone number? 5) Zip code? 6) Nearest Airport? Note: Please the above information are very important and are highly needed from you. As soon as you send me your full names and address, we shall discuss payment details. You will transfer the money to us by WesternUnion/Money Gram and once we confirm the payment, We'll take the puppy to a veterinarian before departure. The vet will give the puppy a complete physical test of good health, before filling out the airline required health certificate of travel after that we will then take the puppy to the airline and pay for the flight and send you an email itinerary of all the flight schedule. I am really happy that soon you will be getting the puppy and cannot wait to see pictures and updates once you get the puppy home."" Once I said I thought it was a scam and didn't like the Western Union part, this is what they sent back (they sent the EXACT thing to my friend when she said she thought it was a scam); "Oh My God Kristy, Kristy I'm very sorry to hear you sounding skeptical ,it seems that you are thinking that I want to take your money for what is not real, or I'm trying to take an advantages over you and your money. When I know how people work very hard and make their money,so I will never think about that. Kristy we only receive deposit payments via Western Union.Can you pay the reservation fee so we hold the puppy until when u are ready?" It was just one red flag after the other. Google image searched the photos of the puppies and found the SAME photos being used a numerous other sites. They said they were located in Virginia but told my friend Ohio. When I asked for the AKC Litter number, and local Vet they used I was ignored (as was my friend) but they were pushing to get that money sent in. After I called them out on everything I was completely ignored. They won't reply back at all. I mean come on, I even said I would meet in person with the FULL AMOUNT that day and nothing. 100% a scam, no doubt about that. I wanted to share so others didn't fall for this.
