Got a text from this company. They claimed I owed for EOS fitness which I haven’t had a membership and cancelled in 2020 during Covid. I asked for their CA collection license number and the guy was insistent that he doesn’t have it nor has to provide, which I know isn’t true. I then called and talked to the Manager of EOS who said my account is closed. He never heard of Swift and they only deal with ABC Finance. He confirmed my account is closed and I owe $0. I even sent him my cancellation email since during Covid they weren’t open to come in person and they said to email. I called back to the supposed Swift and again the guy refused to give their license number. Next step is filling a complaint.

I have a collections account for UFC gym that I did sign up for in 2015. I initially contacted the company through my Credit Karma app and the phone number recorded, is not a working number. I looked it up on the internet and noticed that BBB had their contact information. I happened to read the reviews and all were very similar complaints, even the most recent reviews. I called the number provided by BBB and the outcome turned out the same as what I had read on the reviews. I had a gentleman answer in a very unprofessional manner, when I asked him about my account and the sum that I owed, he responded with "Well what does Credit Karma show you owe?" I responded with an amount, and he stated "well that's close enough". I requested to speak to someone else and he rudely placed me on hold and I was on hold for about 6 minutes before I hung up. I'm not too happy that this kind of company has my information. I hope to have my dispute reviewed and resolved.
