Was contacted by IPS Heart HR Assistant Caitlin Murray after applying in LinkedIn for a remote data entry clerk role. Caitlin asked for a copy of my resume and then sent me next steps: a skills assessment link with and IPS Heart Careers domain, and an employee info data collection asking for location info and experience. I was then sent a job offer with expert language and detail, 4 pages long on company letterhead. It explained in one area needing to set up a personal blockchain workflow account and that Caitlin would walk me through adding funds with a company check. It was a very small part of the letter but I emailed Caitlin back asking to hop on a quick call or zoom and she didn’t respond. I emailed again this morning and the email was returned saying the domain name does not exist. The phone number goes directly to a voicemail that just says “HR LINE” in an automated tone. The company address in the offer letter is only a few blocks from my house. I went in person and it is a rentable workspace and I was told “he isn’t in at the moment”.

Palmetto Solar Impostor
I was contacted about solar panels. I said I was interested in getting more information about them. Over a two week period the agent and I had conversation off and on. He explained to me that I could get solar panels on my home for no cost to me. He said whatever energy the solar panels take in my home uses what it needs and the electric company will buy the rest. That he wasn't sure how often I would get paid (monthly, quarterly, biyearly or yearly) he said they had to run my credit. When I asked why, he told me it was just like a utility company running my credit to make sure I don't have any outstanding utility bills. I agreed to the credit check. Within a few moments he told me I was approved to get the silver pan els from my house. He emailed me several documents to look over, electronically signed and return same day. I was on my way into work and told him I would try to read the documents on my brakes but that I was going to go over them with a fine tooth comb. He asked if I could have them completed by the next day. Call terminated and I realized I had another question so I called the company's customer service directly. I explained the situation to the customer service representative and asked my question. The customer service representative informed me, at that point, that the solar panels are NOT free and that I had been proved for a $52,000 loan that is to be paid off over 25 years at 2.9% and that my monthly payment will be $178. He also explained that the solar panels do not negate my utility bill so I will have my regular utility bill every month plus $178 fee for installing the solar panels. Basically this agent lied to me and misrepresented his company. Nothing he said to me was the truth about their product. I did not know, nor did I consent to having an application for a loan put in. The customer service agent put in a ticket to have everything canceled. I contacted the gentleman whose name is on the paperwork that was sent to me, not the agent I was speaking with, this gentleman was very nonchalant about the whole situation and kind of blew it off. This is just bad business practice & misrepresentation. Had I not called, I would not have found out until it was too late that they put in for a loan for me

This business said they were a financial institution that helps with reducing your student loan. The message I received on my phone asked me to call back the number 949-408-0006. When I called the number back someone answered the phone and asked me how much I owed. No introduction of the company or anything. When i asked What I was hung up on.

Debt Collections
I received a call at 11:00 AM this morning; they called me twice. A man stated time is running out and you need to refinance your student loan. I told him I don't have a student loan. Then he asked me if I co-signed for anyone and I told him I have not. I am 75 years old and have been getting numerous phone calls in this regard. I'm going to report those harassing phone numbers to the FTC 877-382-4357.
