fay servicing imposter
Caller identified himself as Brian Gibbs from Fay Servicing. (Fay Servicing is my current mortgages cimpany). He offered a new government mortgage reduction program to me which is backed by HUD. I told him to use my checking account to withdrawal the funds from. He said that this new program needed a debit card. I gave them my husbands card info. They said that they ran it three times and it did not accept it. I told them it was a good card. They want me to go to the post office and get two money orders for the amount. Once I get them call Brian Gibbs back at the same number to have him trll me exactly what to write on the money orders before I send them.

Debt Collections
They called asking for my name claiming to be the IRS. They said I owe money to the IRS and if it was unpaid then they'd have to contact the authorities because there's a warrant out for my arrest. They would not give a name or IRS badge number. And when I told them that the IRS doesn't contact people via phone call. They should mail me all information that I should know with the address on file they became angry.

DEbt Collection
Mr. Armstrong calls myself, my husband and mother in law on numerous occasions for collection of an alleged debt that my husband supposedly owes. He also calls me at work. I don't know how he got any of our telephone numbers. The caller ID shows the call is coming from Yonkers, New York. He has also called from other numbers in the past. He refuses to tell me what company he is with. I had my attorney call him after he left me a voicemail at work. Mr. Armstrong alleges that my husband took out a loan in 2009 from Advance America (which is not true). He says my husband authorized automatic withdrawals from his checking account with Credit Union One. My husband never had an account with Credit Union One. Mr. Armstrong says that my husband stopped the automatic deductions after "taking the money" from Advance America. When my attorney asked why he was calling me, Mr. Armstrong replied that I was the spouse and I was obligated on the loan and that I co-signed for my husband. I did not even know my husband in 2009. When my attorney asked Mr. Armstrong to fax the papers to verify the debt owed and showing my alleged signature, Mr. Armstrong asked why he would need that information. My attorney replied by saying he wanted to see my alleged signature. Mr. Armstrong then replied that he would contact "the powers that be" and see if he was allowed to release this information. After that Mr. Armstrong hung up. I have not heard anything since. I since have blocked that number from calling my husband and myself. Unfortunately, I cannot block him from calling my work or my mother in law. Mr. Armstrong has violated so many laws and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He never even identified himself as a debt collector, etc.
