Kansas Premium Logistics Scam
I saw an ad on Craigslist for a 2016 Chevy Silverado for sale posted in Huntsville Alabama. I contacted the reply address and got a response saying the person who posted the ad was posting on behalf of their sister. They sent me an email address to contact her directly ([email protected]). I emailed her saying I was interested in the vehicle and this is the response I got: "Hi, My name is Gina, Thank you for being interested in buying my 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, I have a clean title, only 27,784 miles.The price was reduced at $12.500 firm, because of my recent divorce, This car doesn't help me much as a woman, so thats why the low price and quick sale. 80% of my time is spent as a flight attendant, so it would be hard for me to deal in person. Thanks" I did a quick google search of 'Kansas Premium Logistics' and saw they registered their domain name on Nov 15th 2018. Their website says they've been in business for 17 years. I also saw an article detailing similar scams for vehicles using logistics companies that seemed identical to what was going on - sob story from a woman, logistics company with slick website, almost nothing about them on the web. I'm actually still emailing the woman and she's supposed to put me in touch with the logistics company. I'm attaching the carfax report she sent me for the vehicle in question that has a VIN number on it. I'd love it if someone caught whomever is certainly trying to defraud me, over state lines, via wire transfer, and did something about people like this. I'd be more than happy to forward correspondence to law enforcement or whomever.

Kansas Premium Logistics Scam
I had found a 2015 Toyota 4Runner for sale on craigslist for $10,000. Upon contacting the number I was referred to a different number belonging to a woman named "Synda Brick." After initiating contact, she told me she was recently divorced and had no use for the SUV and was using an escrow service to sell the car as she is an airline attendant and not frequently in town. When I expressed interest she asked for my info to refer that to "Kansas Premium Logistics." A company that had a website but I could find no other means of confirming their existence. I received an email with an official looking invoice from the company instructing me to set up a bank wire transfer. They would not accept cash, check, or credit card. At that point I stopped contact.
