I was reached out to via text message while job searching on Indeed. A woman using the name Sarah Williams went over the job and asked me to schedule an interview. In need of money, I agreed as the position was for an Online Chat Representative. The interview was conducted via Microsoft Teams, took over 2 hours for the whole line of questions to be given and answered. This interview was conducted by Paul Savich on Teams. The following morning he asked me to be at my desk by 8 AM to confirm whether or not I got the job. I did, he went through the information for the company and proceeded to say they're giving me a check for the equipment needed for the job. This is not standard practice. 99% of companies just ship the materials to you directly. Please do not give this company any information.

I was contacted via text from a recruiter from The Wellness Way and was told my resume was sent to HR and they felt I was a good for for a Customer Service representative, I preceded to give my Microsoft Teams information for a via text interview during I gave personal information and my current job duties after back and forth questions they proceeded to explain how I would receive equipment but have to purchase the software from “vendors” to build trust I didn’t feel it was necessary but continued to see if they would proceed to ask for bank information so that I would know it was definitely a scam but they didn’t only told me that I would receive and check and to purchase the products and the. Keep the rest as a “sign on bonus.

Secret Shopper Survey
This morning I received a text message from telephone number 734-315-0145 saying that I have been selected to participate in a secret shopper survey for which I would be paid $300. As I’ve been a part of legitimate survey is for which I have received small sums of money I answered yes to the email and when I got home there was an overnight priority mail envelope waiting for me. The person from whom it was sent was named Carol router or UHT ER coming from Barrington Illinois. When I opened it there was a letter inside using Walmart letterhead telling me that I was to go and I noticed the check had no water mark which was of concern and so I googled this purchased several things using no more than $90 from Walmart and to take in the cleanliness of the store the way that the people treated me how friendly the cashiers were and then later on to go back and buy several gift cards totaling $1200 in denominations of 400 apiece and then I was to take pictures of the numbers on the back of the cards and send them to the email and telephone number selected. Also in the envelope with the check for $1590 made out to me. The check was sent through something called MPower federal credit union I noticed the check had no watermark which was of concern and so I googled this company and found that they have been Sending out fraudulent checks and that people were cashing them and then suddenly your bank would find out that it was a fake check and you would be stuck paying back the money in the meantime the person to whom you texted the numbers on the back of the cards was realizing the gains by keeping the gift card amounts for themselves. Thankfully I didn’t spend any of this money and this is literally five minutes after I opened the envelope but please be very careful
