Geek Squad Impostor
I got a call from this number 863-440-7836, the guy barely spoke English, right away I knew this was a scam but I kept asking questions to get down as much information as possible. He told me he works for GEEK SQUAD and I had a warranty in 2015 for my computer that I am getting a refund for WITH THE HELP OF THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU for $399 since the warranty is no longer working. In order to do this he was going to help me fill out a form online with the better business bureau (because apparently I need help finding their website). I said do you even know my name? How do you know I am getting a refund. He told me my name and phone number. (this was accurate information) He told me to enter the following into my web browser: "alpha7.tk" I told him I would write this down first, he said no put this in your browser directly. I said this is not a real website, and this is a scam. He hung up immediately.
