Medicare Phone Scam
I was called by this number and asked if I had Medicaid or Medicare. When I responded that I had husky health and I wasn't sure if that qualified as either they hung up on me. When I called back to see why I was hung up on they said that I was wasting their time and refused to give me any information. They then hung up on me again. When I went to call back a third time my number had been blocked by them. I went to call from another number try and get some more information or at the very least file a complaint if somehow this was a legitimate company. I was hung up on again so at that point I decided to file this complaint I'm sorry but any legitimate company would not refuse to answer my questions when I wasn't even being rude or impolite and then hang up on me. Also what legitimate company blocks somebody. Especially if that person wasn't being unreasonable just wanted to see what the purpose of their phone call was. I'm not only angry for the way I was treated but I also want to make sure that no one is taking advantage of unfairly or scammed. Please look into this ASAP so that they can't get away with what they're doing. Unfortunately because they didn't give me any information I can only provide the number and the fact that they asked me about Medicaid and Medicare. I did a search on been verified of the phone number myself and there is no information at all except for location. It says it's a landline in Connecticut. That's all I have been able to find out myself. Please let me know what comes of the investigation. In the small chance that this was a legit call of some kind, which I know that it is not, please tell them to be more professional or you will be getting thousands of calls about this being a scam!
