Pet Scam
I was looking for Scottish fold kittens online and i saw a website that was sponsored by google which gave me peace of mind. We contacted them after finding a kitten we liked, they said her name was Gilia and she was 800 and that they do next day shipping to Arizona for an extra 200, we were skeptical so we asked how we know if they’re legit they said we sign a contract for extra peace of mind so we sent them $1000 then their “shipping” company sent an email saying that we needed to pay for pet insurance to proceed with delivery and that was $1495 but it was refundable upon delivery then the next day we got another email saying that the crate provided by the seller wasn’t safe and that because of new regulations we need to rent the kitten another up to standard crate which was $1190 which was supposed to be refundable as well. They told us she’ll be here Saturday and it’s Monday. But no one has told us any updates nor will the seller respond to any messages or calls. I would honestly just like my money back. I didn’t think to look more into the images and information provided on the website because google recommended them as trustworthy and even sponsors them but looking more into the website now it looks sketchy and I feel dumb for falling for it but google sponsoring it really made me blind. We sent money through zelle we sent $1000 to [email protected] and $2685 to [email protected]

Publishers Clearing House Imposter
I received a call yesterday on my cell phone. I answered the call. My caller ID showed phone number 850-800-9766. It also showed Florida. The caller said his name was Rob Baker with Publishers Clearing House. He gave me a six digit number. 703259 PCH-OH. I gave him my age and address. He said I won $25 million. He wanted me to speak with his supervisor. He transferred me to Billy Mason. He gave me a phone number to call him back after 4:00 P.M. I called the number provided 775-659-9697 X37. He wanted to come to my home on January 18th. The state patrol would be with them. I told him I work until 4:00. I also called PCH directly. They told me not to call. It is a scam. They will ask for money.

Fake Check/Money Order
The bank approved the check. Later the bank say its contifit and I have to deposit the money back the scammer received from me for loan of 2000 dollars

Phishing Scam
Scammers sent the1st email to 91 year old whose vision kept her from seeing email sender clues. 2nd email was sent 6 months later. The phone number on email is (850) or (808) similar to toll free. When you call the phone # scammers want bank routing/account numbers and picture of photo ID. Largest print on email uses Norton Lifelock logo and the amount is bolded. BBB logo also on email. Emails have several scammer clues but easy to miss for those with vision issues.

Puppy Scam
Website is setup through a free website builder and only way of contact is through the website via email. They will ask some normal breeder/dog rescue questions, then request a payment to hold and ship the dog to you. Raised an alarm because the english used in the email wasn't quite right and the website is off as well. Investigated further the phone number is through a VOIP service and the mailing address is for a trailer somewhere in FL not a place where you would expect someone to be able to breed a Golden Retriever with AKC papers.
