Puppy Scam
I, *** ******* sent an online application to purchase a french bulldog, Lyla, from www.allbluepups.com on Sunday, January 3, 2015. On Monday, January 4, 2015 I received a text from a person naming themselves Mr. Justice Lucas. He said that he would send me some further info via email to complete the purchase. Everything looked fine and we agreed to the sale of one french bulldog puppy, Lyla, and paid Mr. Lucas directly to his ***** ***** acccount for the sum of $890 USD. This was for the puppy and the shipping. Mr. Lucas stated that he used United Airlines. Mr. Lucas said he arranged to have Lyla shipped and that I should check my email for shipping instructions from the carrier. Upon doing so, I received an email from ************************* with an attachment stating that my animal could not be shipped without paying them $929 USD to cover a proper travel crate and insurance. I called ****** ******** and they had no knowledge of this company, nor do they work with them. I asked Mr. Lucas to ship the puppy directly through ****** ******** or to refund my money. He has since refused any contact.
