The scammer claimed to be a transmission place and we purchased a transmission from person whose name they said was Kevin Williams. We paid 550 dollars for this transmission and still never received it. Paid for it on 4/20/2023 said it would be here the following Monday it never came. There number said it was no longer active when. I tried to call them back

Sent me a email. When I opened it said it was a invoice for a Amazon purchase.Had a name that wasn’t mine. At the main bottom of the invoice had a phone number to call if I didn’t not purchase the IPhone 13 Max. Call the number to get a refund. I called and them there wasn’t a purchase on my account for $999.00 told me it wouldn’t show up for 24 hrs and that’s why I need to cancel it right away. Told me to go the App Store on my iPhone and type in deskscam. I told them I wasn’t doing that cause it would give them access to everything on my phone. Said she was going to to call BBB to make sure it was safe. Well needless to say they hung up on me. Be careful of what they want you to do.

535 Plumbing Impostor
I company I work for, 535 Plumbing, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, is a member of the BBB. One of our customer service representatives spoke with a customers last week about a scammer posing as our business owner. The scammer identified himself as Michael Greg from Georgia and called from 808-800-0535. Our business phone number is 808-300-0535. He told our customer that the person she talked to from my office is scamming her and that she would need to pay him directly for services rendered. We ended up losing a customer because she lost trust in us and was spooked.

This company tried to bill me $499.99 for Defender Antivirus software I did not purchase. When I called to cancel the order the man on the line was insisted he needed access to my laptop to cancel the order. I refused to give him access and he became very insistent about needing access to my laptop to cancel the order; I refused. He became irritated and hurriedly hung up the phone. I have no billing activity in my checking account; they do not have any private info or $ from me. There is no "business name" to the company only this e-mail address: [email protected], and the name: General Manager Carey Serfont I hope this helps.

Person on Instagram called Conroy Miller pretended to have a business Flip Money if you invest money by sending western Union you can get 20k into your banking account I was convinced since i spoke to a person named Bill Collins agent of IRS and BBB I sent 1100 through western union 3 diffirent transaction 200, 300 and 600 I seen a picture of 20 k being processed to my account. Once i spoke to my mother Mary Moyer all converstion were disappeared all have is receipts from western Union
