It all started with a phone call I recieved from a company named "Assurance" regarding health insurance options and was asking for personal information.As a result I came to a conclusion that this was a scam It didnt sound right. Something was definitely wrong

I LOOKED AT THE PHONE NUMBER AND KNEW IT WAS NOT FROM MY BANK .... I TOLD HIM, "I WILL GO TOMORROW TO MY BANK AND HANDLE THIS THERE " , I HUNG UP ANDHE CALLED BACK TWICE (2x'S) AND DEMANDED THAT I HANDLE IN "RIGHT NOW'.....I HUNG UP AGAIN ..... I had trouble finding a phone number for You tube tv. I then did a search and this Hawaii number came up in my search results. I called it. I was trying to locate a duplicate account of my services. I stupidly gave remote access to the scammer who had a thick Indian or Pakistani accent. He came across as polite and not demanding. My screen would go blank while they were working on "the issue." At the 42 minute mark, I hung up and started damage control. Once he asked me to download Zelle on my phone and also asked for other credit cards I may have, I came to my senses and hung up. I have had to replace some of my cards because of this. I thought that by giving them my AMEX information was relevant since that was the payment method on my You Tube account. I got lucky and only lost 100.00 which I am currently disputing. They also hacked my Pay Pal, but Pay Pal much their credit, rejected a 252.99 charge that was also associated with the scammer's "name" **** *****. They attempted to use XOOM to have this 252.99 taken from my account but Pay Pal denied the request. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Alvin Zwilling of New age aloha properties posts vacation rentals for hawaii and prices too good to believe. For example, we were going to rent a 4-bedroom spacious beach home for less than $300 night during the busy season (end of december), when all other similar properties were in excess of $1500 per night. When we said we wanted to stay 2 more days, the rate did not change. Requested a Zelle payment to Izuchukwu Ugwu - which is a scam individual. Buyer beware - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam.

Work From Home - Employment Opportunity
I received a voicemail offering a job for Amazon to work from home only a couple hours a day at a min of $500 a day by visiting their online link which was retailprofitsonline.org It then asked for me to send $47 to sign up to make a profile and a website for them by putting in my credit card information and address and personal info. I clicked off the link and did not proceed because it was obviously a Scam!

Charity Scam
Received a phone call from an unrecognized number to my cell phone. Caller said he was calling on behalf of the Police Foundation for donations. The connection had an echo, so was a little confusing. I began to explain I do not make donations via the phone, but at a point in the short conversation I said the word "yes". After a short bit of speaking over the phone echos the caller said they would call back at a better time. Unfortunately I am now on the alert for unauthorized charges since this caller has my cell phone number and me saying the word "yes".

An unknown person called on my wife's cell phone from 808-400-1821. The call went: This is Joe from ** electrical calling. The person acted as if it was a poor connection and didn't speak for a little while. Then he came back on asking if I could hear him now. I answered with a little hesitation that Yes I could hear him. then the call went dead. That's when I realized something was wrong,
