Nicholas Ortega from West Coast Marine & Yacht Service, LLC charged me $15,200 for a new boat engine he took my money threw away my old engine and now refuses to give me my money back and refuses to tell me what happened with my old engine. It has been 3 years since I dropped off my boat with Nicholas and he has done nothing to it other than take my engine now he wants me to pick up my boat with no engine and and he is suing me for storage fees. This guys is a con artist and needs to be stopped before he scams someone else. I found out that he was scamming me because his mechanic was nice enough to warn me. Nicolas’ mechanic (co-worker) told me to ask to see my engine before I gave Nicholas more money. Nicholas was asking for $4,000 more. When I asked to see my engine he said I threw it away. I told Nicholas not to cash the $4000 check and I opened a small claims action to recuperate some of my money.
