I was looking for dogs online. I communicated with this business and they claimed to have dogs for sale at a low cost. They sent plenty of pictures and acted like they were trying to find a good home for the dog. However, they responded too quickly and were adamant about receiving payment. This seemed weird so I asked for a FaceTime, they said they could send a video of the dog instead. I then asked for a picture of the dog with them holding a sign in front of them with my name and the date. They never responded. I never sent any money.

Website claiming to be a Golden Doodle breeder, selling puppies for sale at a discounted price. No phone or address available, just email. After contacting through email for more puppy details, they proceeded to send us more pictures, videos, and puppy details. They pressured for a deposit via Chase Zelle of $550. We sent the deposit, and then they pressured us for the remaining amount, promising us to send the flight details for shipping the puppy to us with a puppy nanny from Essex, Vermont. We paid the balance, they then stopped contacting and were non responsive when we asked for our deposit and money back. No flight details were given. Website remains the same, with the same available puppies. Website was made December 18 (via whoisdomain tool), so we suspect the owners of the site are unemployed, desperate, and resorted to scamming people.
