Responded to an ad for a Golden doodle puppy shown for sale. Spoke to an individual who described the situation that the puppy was priced "to go" in order to make room for another litter expected. Individual sent a video of the puppy and a newer picture as I requested. The individual then requested payment through Zillow and gave me the email address to which it would be sent while also explaining that a separate company would be handling flying the puppy to my airport of choice. The following morning I received a call from the transportation company stating that I needed to send $1800.00 for a special kind of transportation crate and I would be given $1700.00 back upon return of the crate at the airport when the puppy was picked up. I was given a separate email address for that to be sent through Zelle. A few hours later the same person called again (she had a thick Asian accent and was very hard to understand)stating that the puppy had not gotten all its vaccines and it would be $1500 for vaccinations in order that the puppy is released to fly from its location, At that point, it was clearly a scam which I stated to the caller and hung up. Later on that day the original person texted me to inquire if the puppy had arrived. I answered that there had been no puppy and I knew this was a scam. no further communication after that.

I was running it ad on craigslist in Memphis Tennessee and I put my phone number on the ad I received a text message offering to give me my asking price along with 200 extra dollars for shipping. I believe this is a scam. I responded back to the text explaining that I felt they were scammers they did not respond to me
