He called and said that I won 10.5 million dollars, a new Mercedes-Benz, and $2,500 a month for life. He told me to go to Walmart to get a Vanilla gift card and have it activated for $200. They offered to come this afternoon and deliver my prize. He did have my address and my email address. I did not get a Vanilla gift card but did get information about him. He said his name was James Carter and I got his phone number which I put in this report.

Truck Repair Scam
I called this company to come out to repair my truck. They wanted the money up front. I paid with a comchek $1100.00 They cashed my check sent me to another repair shop and will not call me back or refund me the money I paid. It looks like this company does it a lot according to the reviews online. Something need to be done to stop this company for running an illegal business.

I’ve been looking at houses on rental apps. I liked a house (to save it). I then a couple days later received an email from “Grant David Fausset”. I was told this long story about his life and family. (I am a Pathologist by profession and working for European Public Health Alliance. As a microbiologist/Researcher, I do more of humanitarian work which is out of my real profession. Moreover, I just finished a project in Poland about treatment of water and to educate communities on intensive health-care. The project was initiated by UNICEF in conjunction with EPHA; I led the troop to actualize the conclusion of the project. We are presently in Logan, UT. This is a great opportunity for me and my family, i will be away with my family for at least 4 to 5 years because of the love I have for the state.) << part of the story. His wife Glenda was a memeber of the ministry (http://www.joycemeyer.org/) and given the previous link. I talked to him for a few days letting him think I was getting the rental even though I was suspicious from the start. I filled the application (just a list of questions out). He began to call a lot. He then sent me a lease. I read through it and everything looked “ok”. Then I looked on Muskingum County Auditor and searched the address (1003 Beverly Ave Zanesville, OH 43701) and the results stated the house was owned by Century National Bank. I then email Grant asking for proof the property was his. Within 2 minutes he calls me and says I bought the house from century national bank in October. I say okay and he ask if I read the lease yet. I replied yes everything looks good. I’ll get it signed and emailed back right away. He hung up. I then go to the house and look outside and he told me Lepi and associates used to have it but they were asking too much and he wasn’t in it for money so he decided to lease it on his own. So when I get to the house it has a lepi sign in the yard and a lepi lock on the door. I then emailed (playing into it) “Print and sign then then how do we get the lease and money to you and when do we get the keys?“ he again called and said just send it via email and send a money order with the 650 deposit. I’ll mail you the keys and you can then mail the other 650. I said okay that sounds great. He then started texting me asking where I want the lease and keys sent. I told him an address. Then he said send it today or tomorrow I said whenever you can Is fine. “If you can come up with the deposit today then i can overnight the Keys and lease immediately so that you can have it tomorrow” was his reply. I didn’t respond right away. I then get “Guess you are no longer interested in the home. Thanks and God bless”. I again didn’t answer. Haven’t talked to him since. Thought the entire process he was being pushy, and “weird”.
