Phishing
I am not sure the name/address of the person that contacted me is correct. I never met the person or spoke to the person. All correspondence was via test messages from (657) 363-9427. They told me their name was **** ****** living at **** **** *** ******, Edmund, Oklahoma 73034. I was sent a counterfeit cashier's check via Priority Mail (tracking# **********************) from Five Star Bank in Warsaw NY (check# 1234141) for $23,550 to buy a camper from me for $20,000. I was also supposed to give $3,550 cash to driver when they came to pick up the camper. I called the bank issuing the cashier's check (Five Star Bank) and was told the check was counterfeit. I have tried to keep the person engaged saying I was waiting for the check to clear.
