The first caller was a foreign accent heavy, said he was calling on behalf of the IRS for debt collection and papers are being filed in the federal courthouse his name is Albert case number GS 4893, batch ID DC 180 409, said I owed $6,554,00. Very persistent asking me for information I told him he was calling me that he needed to provide me with information. He put me on hold another man came on that was very much more persistent than the first said his name was David Morgan and that they were filing charges against me in the federal courthouse if I didn't pay them some money today he said I could not hang up my phone he told me I needed to go to the nearest Dollar General and put $300 on a Google card and the whole time I could not hang up the phone I had to do the whole transaction getting in my car purchasing the card everything while he was on the phone I could not hang up with him if the phone hung up then he was going to pursue a warrant for my arrest. And there could be no third party involved I couldn't tell no one about this. He had even asked what kind of phone I had who was my service provider model and serial number of my phone.. he also asked me who has been doing my taxes, I told him if he was from the IRS he would know that. The phone call lasted 29 minutes and I was scared he said he was calling me back tomorrow.

IRS Imposter
This phone number keeps calling me today. They have left two messages and what I have caught from them is that they say I am going to be arrested. I spoke with one of the reps on the phone who said she is from the IRS, I told her I was reporting her right now.

Scam Call Allegations
Today, May 5th of 2018, I got a call and a voicemail from the number "646-396-7491" registered coming out of "New York"; the caller ID displayed it as only "New York" and not specifically as New York City or somewhere in New York State. The voicemail of 30 seconds, as well as I remember it, said, "Allegations are coming against you. To avoid us taking legal action against you, call us at "646-396-7491". Thank you." Immediately starting to think that this was a scam, I got online and did a search for "legal action against you scam", finding a news article (Fox News 31 out of Denver, CO) verifying that this was none other than, yes, a scam. This 646 scam number has since called me back twice but has not left any more messages. I myself have not called the number back and do not plan to ever do so.

IRS Imposter Scam
Received a call from number listed above. When I picked up it was an automated system claiming to be Irs and said I had to call the number or I would be arrested. I knew it was a scam so I called private and i got a busy signal. I later called showing my number and when the person picked up they said thanking for calling the IRS. I told them it’s not the IRS and I would be reporting them.
