Advance Fee Loan
Yesterday, I applied for a loan online. I got a call from Rachel at 614-859-9094. I thought I was talking to Community Choice Financial. After several calls, she deposited $891.00 into my account for insurance purposes. They said they would call me this morning to release the funds/confirm the loan. They didn't call. I checked my banking app, and got a warning that my account was frozen for security reasons. I called my bank. The bank said they would investigate it with their fraud department. The fraud department called back and confirmed it was a scam, and that because I have shared my personal information they have to close my account. I called Rachel back this morning, and she said you need to ask the bank to release the freeze and call us back.
