Pet Scam
Scam started with puppy purchase from breeder and shipping to my location. Puppy was supposedly shipped and to be delivered within 1 to 2 days to me a couple states away. Each step of the process incurred fee after fee by shipping company and Standingbankco, which was "covered" by the purchased pet insurance and deposited into Standingbankco account. After a 45 days of not being delivered, the puppy supposedly died. Constant fees for each step of "process" had to be paid. If they were not paid, I was threatened to be turned into animal negligent / abuse authorities and would be fined and imprisoned. After death, I was threatened to not have funds refunded, if I didn't pay the additional fees (customs, ASPCA, Govenor's Approval, etc). The fees were eventually added to the bank account, but the banker would not release funds to use or allow me to transfer funds into another bank account.. Banker/Breeder kept stating that money would be returned after each fee, which turned out to be a lie. Fees included: crate, pet insurance, shots, vet treatment, pet control, bank account creation, legal, feeding and boarding, emergency flight, transfer fees, taxes, customs, ASPCA, Govenor's Approval, US Comptroller stamp, IRS file. Every time one fee was paid, another one was charged. I have lost a lot of money over this, believing the funds would be returned at each step as promised by the banker. After 4 months of constant fees, no funds have been returned.... only another fee charged. This is a horrible "bank" and imposes ridiculous fees... don't ever work or deal with this bank!
