Phishing
I received a call on my cell phone that I did not recognize but answered anyway. The call came from 608-402-4034 in Baraboo, WI. The caller asked for Patricia, then with last name (who is my deceased mother-in-law). Patricia had never lived with us and never used my cell phone. I indicated to caller that she was deceased, but am now thinking that was too much information to give to a stranger (though it probably is public record). I'm posting here in case this is a case of phishing for information that would confirm a death so that a social security number or other identifying information could be used fraudulently.
