Debt Collections this phone number (563)-517-8505 called my cell phone and left a voice message that if i did not return their call, an official would arrest me and take me away in handcuffs. It said to call right away.
So I googled the phone number 563-517-8505 and the word scam. There were several reports on Google about this phone number calling people about the same thing.
I called the phone number 563-517-8505 and a male answered.He asked for my phone number. I gave my cell phone # to him. He then said Sheila, I said no my name is not sheila. He said yes Sheila. I said no. (I did not give him my name) He said check your text right now, a code # is coming through. you need to give this to me. A text was sent with a code # 616676. I did not give him the code #. I told him that I was going to report them for scam and call the better business bureau.I told him that I typed their phone number into Google and there are several reports of fraud.
