On or about November 26, 2022, an unexpected notice was emailed from the Beatz Barre owners to its members that the studio would be closed reopening in two weeks at a new venue; it was moving to a new location. The email did not disclose the new venue (location) and indicated that the unexpected closure was related to plumbing related issues and sale of the building. Beatz Barre communicated the closure would be temporary and in the meantime would offer virtual classes to its members for the next two weeks. On or about December 10, 2022, approximately two weeks later, a second notice was emailed to its members stating that the studio wasn't ready to open at the new location, but business was expected to be back in full operation after Christmas, December 26, 2022, thirty days after initial closure. Additional information was given in this email that in the event the studio wasn't able to reopen, they would offer in person classes somewhere else. On December 27, 2022, Beatz Barre sent no additional communication to its members as to its status canceling in-person reservations daily, breaching its full in-person service "Icon" membership contract: C.6, "Cancellation - Facility Relocation/Closure: Membership shall be subject to cancellation and refund from Beatz Barre if we cease all business operations OR move the facility more than 15 driving miles from the current location and fail to provide, within 30 days, another facility of equal or greater value at no additional cost to the member." On or about January 5, 2023, Beatz Barre sent an email to its members informing us they wouldn't be able to open the new location as planned because its members complained to their banking institutions that the studio closed causing them not to be able to reopen. Members were advised around this time Beatz Barre was still in operation, how refunds would or would not be handled, that not all members would receive a refund, etc. and to submit all inquires to [email protected]. As of January 9, 2023, all virtual classes, the last of their class services ceased without communication, responses to inquires, or requests for refunds answered.

Physical fitness program
Sadly, what was once a fun, inviting, inclusive boutique studio, has failed its members in a very short time. Although former reviews all support that the studio offered a great work out program, recent business practices have compromised their reputation and cause me great concern. On November 27, 2022, all live class schedules were removed from Mind/Body App, and the studio had vacated the 1603 Route 9, Clifton Park NY location by the end of the month. I did not receive a formal notice from the studio, but had learned in part from other members that the studio had an opportunity to relocate down the street; (note: exact location never disclosed). The current landlord has the space on the market. To meet their request and end the lease early, Beatz Barre would transition to on line classes only for the next two weeks. On December 10, 2022, a notice was emailed stating that the studio wanted to provide a quick update: while we relocate just down the road on Route 9 , the new required construction was not completed to turn over the building. They anticipated resuming in person sessions after Christmas. In the event they are able to have the new space available before that, they will offer both in person classes and maintain virtual classes through December 26th. Over one month from when the studio vacated the former facility, a notice was emailed to members on January 5, 2023, indicating they continue to reach roadblocks facilitating the move. They were not able to provide a timeframe for when the move would be completed. They offered to continue virtual classes or give members the option to request to freeze their memberships for up to 8 weeks. If members have supplement subscriptions, they would not be processed for the upcoming months until the studio reopens. Regarding the option to cancel, they stated "As Beatz Barre continues to offer services virtually, we are fulfilling our obligation in all agreements and have not ceased all business operations. As we plan to open a new studio space, we will not automatically cancel and process all refunds for all members." Members were advised to submit all inquires to [email protected] As of January 9, 2023, virtual classes have been discontinued. No formal message has been sent to members. Charges for supplements not received during closure have not been refunded/no product received. Members that have prepaid are being erroneously charged for weekly memberships. When using the required email for inquiries, no responses are received. Per Beatz Barres own contract: Section C.6. Cancellation- Facility Relocation/Closure: Membership shall be subject to cancellation and refund from Beatz Barre if we cease all business operations OR move the facility more than 15 driving miles from the current location and fail to provide, within 30 days, another facility of equal or greater value at no additional cost to the member. The facility has no business operations and has not provided another facility within 30 days. Request for refund has yet to be honored. 1/24/23 an update went out to some, but not all members. Stating in part: Unfortunately, we have still not heard back from the building owner from the space in which we had planned to relocate to. We have searched for other locations, however, actions of some such as reporting our business permanently closed to their financial institutions have made it difficult for us to provide documentation required to secure and complete a new studio. What does this mean for my membership? While those who have reported us permanently closed has limited our ability to take actions on members accounts, based on member feedback, we are working to automatically terminate all memberships billing cycles this week. Beatz Barre will retain your current rate on file, and upon reopening members will be eligible to rejoin at their current rate. When your membership is terminated, you will no longer have access to virtual fitness classes/on-demand options. We are working with another local fitness studio to seek preferred rates for our members during this transition time. More details to come soon. I have a prepaid package, what are my options? Members on prepaid packages will have multiple options to gain value from their purchase. Please see below and select the option that works best for you: 1-Members may freeze until in-studio classes resume, please use the appropriate freeze form in your membership agreement to have time extended on your pre-paid package. 2-Members may covert pro-rated balance into studio credit, these credits can be used for personal training sessions from Beatz Barre trainers. More details to come on this option soon. 3-Members may utilize the virtual class/on-demand training options. 4-Beatz Barre is working to partner with another local studio to offer pre-paid members in-studio class access options during this time. Time used at a partnering studio would be deducted from your remaining pre-paid package. More details to come on this option soon. Beatz Barre will continue to offer virtual options as outlined in the membership agreement to fulfill our responsibilities. Please stay tuned for this and additional studio updates! This company violated their own contract and is not automatically cancelling memberships and refunding ALL members. They are trying to avoid giving refunds which have been requested, and instead, are trying to offer alternatives. They do not respond to any phone calls, email, or Postal mail. The only response has been generic replies to negative reviews on their website.

Work from home Scam
Offered a work at home job processing payroll for the Portland OR area even though they are located in Texas. The texter claims that it is Houston TX, but the address on the link he gave me is McCellan TX. Willing to pay me $250 weekly or $1,000 monthly, my choice. No interview, nothing. Replied to my craigslist post for accounting business and I get this scam text. Luckily I was weary of it at the beginning, so I never gave any personal information.

Puppy Scam

I got on line in hopes of buying a Pomeranian puppy. I sent puppieslovinghome.com $500 and was scammed. They provided a bogus North Carolina address and then tried getting me to pay a1420.00 delivery fee. This is a scam .they used a few email addresses: puppieslovinghome.com; [email protected]; [email protected]; and [email protected]. All these are scams. Be careful, I wish I was!

According to Whois.com this company's website was registered on 2/2/19 with the registrar being out of Phoenix, AZ.
