On 3/26/21 I received an email claiming to be the Principal of the school where I work. He needed (3) $100 eBay gift cards from Krogers by 7 am. My husband quickly went to get them for me, and scratched off the numbers. Suddenly I see the principal in the building at 7 am but I don't say anything to him. I keep getting calls asking if I got the money cards and I said not yet. They are getting pushy with me about it. But since I saw the principal and he did not say anything to me, I realized it was a scam. I have the cards scratched off, but I am not giving the numbers to anyone. The cards are in a safe place because Kroger's cannot refund the cards. I have this problem under investigation with my bank, payment has been held until further investigation. I filed a police report and changed all my credit cards to be safe. The phone number he sent the email from is 508-356-7093. The email he texted me from is yahhirmckennizie@ ?? The last call I got from him was at 7:15 am. I blocked his number. Now we wait for the 90 day investigation to be finished before I hopefully get my money back.

Identity Theft
Scammer sent an email asking for my cell phone number. Cell phone number was provided. Then they texted my cell phone number claiming to be one of my friends (they even used the correct name) and asked me to respond. Fortunately I did not. I now have a new cell phone number though. ;)

I was contacted on Facebook, Instant Messenger of David Fern, who I know and his mother just died a few weeks ago. We know each other from a religious organization and barely know each other. "He" or a scammer texted me on IM, Facebook, "I was just wondering if you have heard about the home care and family support Grant ?...You need to contact the head of disbursement in the person of David Corbin to apply for your grant application.
