Employment Scam
A Dr. Pamela Jeremy contacted me through e-mail saying she was with NHS Healthcare and was offering employment where there were several job openings. After settling on a data entry job she asked that I download the app Discord for the purpose of an interview. After that she said I would need all this office equipment and they would send me a check for 4500.00 to set up my home office. This came from Fed EX. The check looked real enough. I was using a cash app and unable to just deposit the check like she wanted. She said she would give me a 100.00 bonus to basically drive to another state to deposit it. I started looking further into this by way of the BBB and found the exact name of the DR. and someone else who had deposited the check. That check turned out to be fake. I have no intention of doing any more with this person and I hope this information helps other people.
