This person contacted me on Offer Up to purchase a pair of expensive designer shoes. I was instructed to get verified through Cash app because the sales price was over $150. While Cash App was verifying my identity, Mr. Brown also had me get verified through Coinme because he insisted we proceed with the sale using bitcoin. Once I caught on, I notified Offer Up and I showed them the chain of emails clearly based on predatory collecting. They suggested I file a police report (which I need to do as this all happened yesterday). I reached out to Mr. Brown about this and he has nor replied to me. Debt Collection
Company calls several times and all family members saying they are Courier Express trying to deliver important legal documents to the individual they are seeking. When in fact they are a collection agency. They divulge nothing asking for information about an individual family member. They told our elderly mother they were going to bring papers to her home. She was very concerned. They call constantly and call cousins everyone with the last name. Deception, lying, threatening to show up at our home.
