I received a call from an automated system stating that they were investigators for the IRS. It said that an investigation has been opened because of false information that I entered on my taxes. I called the number back and asked who they were. The guy said that he was an IRS investigator. My response was that the IRS does not call people so who are you? At that time he terminated the call.
