Phishing Phone Call Following Accident
I was in a car accident last week so every ambulance chaser has been calling. (NOTHING SERIOUS AT ALL)I answered the phone because I didn't know if it was an insurance company call, rental car place, or body shop. A heavily foriegn accent woman asked if I was my name, told me they were calling about the car accident I had been in and I foolishly said yes, TWICE. I calld the FTC & made a report, called the cell phone comp. & now I'm here. I was told to watch every credit report, banking, utility comp. etc. This just happened at 1:41 today, 1/2/18 while I was driving .
