Employment Scam
I was reached via text about a remote data entry position. I was told to upload Special Messenger. After going through the interview and getting the job i was asked for my bank account information, including login and password. Also, they wanted pictures of my credit card, saying they would pay it off. Then they asked me to get a Green Dot gift card. They got mad when i wouldn't and got mad when they couldn't access my bank account. I did get a gift card for $25.00, told not to activate it, then they took the funds. I was doing all of this in good faith. The first person who sent me the text was Rodney Davis 440.222.7141. I was directed to George Herrera at 313.482.9957. The next day i received another text directing me in the same manner to Teresa Janet at 361.233.5831. A Julie Clark responded on Special Messenger with the same interview tactic. When i told her i was dealing with George she said " Be smart. We're all scammers". I ended all correspondence after that.
