We came in contact with this scammer after believing they were a legit lead from BBB. BBB always sends us emails of any leads, so I contacted this potential client through email as they asked for me to email them. After that they sent over documents through DocuSign saying that their landscape plans were in there. But I couldn't view these documents because it needed a password, which was provided by the scammer. The scammer proceeded to send me an access code which was through Yahoo Mail, instead of Outlook which the scammer had sent the documents. After several calls with this "client" we knew it was not legit because they persisted in getting the access code Yahoo had sent. BBB sent us this lead back in January. Yesterday, March 28, they sent the same document and called for the code. I came back to the office after lunch and had seen that our email was hacked and they had contacted one of our clients that wanted to send a payment through Zelle, saying that our bookkeepers name is Priscilla and provided a Zelle number. Thank God I caught it on time and contacted our client to not send any money as we had been hacked.

If i was American citizen. If i received help paying bills. If i was over 65. Told me the taxes of $500,000 were already paid. Wanted me to give them $400. For shipping and delivery. And would receive awards today. Told him I couldn’t pay $400 today. David Anderson put his boss on the phone his name James Miller phone number 702-847-2431. James wanted me to go to Walmart and get a card of some sort to pay the $400 And that I should call him at this number before I go to Walmart. Then he wanted me to hang up and call him at this number right away to make sure the number worked. I didn't call him back. It sounded very convincing.
