Online Puppy Purchase
On Friday, June 10th, 2022, I was contacted by the seller Brain Harris, regarding the chow chow puppy Juno. He sent me videos and photos of the puppy, after finalized and paid on the cost which $900 including the shipping cost, he sent me the puppy bill of sale, medical record and change of ownership documents. He told me I will receive the call from the cargo company next week to confirm the receiving of the puppy. On June 15th, 2022, I received the call from a lady stating she's from the UPL Export cargo company saying I need to pay additional $1,320 refundable insurance fee. If I don't pay it now, they will not release the puppy shipment. I contact the seller immediately, where he told me this is the normal process and I should pay in order to receive the puppy. After discussing with him for couple more days, he asked me to pay him through gift cards from Walmart. With all, on June 17th, 2022 I called it off and told him that I am no longer interested in the puppy. He told me that he will refund the $900 where it will take 7-20 days to be back to my account. As of today, I have not heard any updates.
