Fake Check/Money Order
I recently received a check in the amount of $2640. to be drawn from Ally Bank, P.O. Box 380902, Bloomington, MN 55438. I was also given a set of instructions to follow, like a secret shopper position. Prior to that I received another check on 12/16/2021 from the Gold Coast Mall, E. Biscayne Drive, Ocean City, MD 21843.This check was issued from Citizens Union Bank, 1201 Mt, Eden Rd., Ste. 201, Shelbyville, KY, 40065 in the amount for $3570.00. I have been scammed before and needed to know if either of these companies where/are legit

I was texted and asked to be a secret shopper for Walmart, they issued me a check for $2630 do you go buy gift cards and then send pictures of the gift cards to the number they gave me said I could keep 100 and I was paid 500 out of that same check and to send 2000 in those Walmart gift cards to the phone number it is a scam

InterLink Research
I was given a letter in the mail from InterLink Research with a check of $2630. I cashed the check right away and let them know I did by texting them and waited for the check to go through, which took about 5 business days. After that, I waited a couple more days just to make sure that the money was actually mine before going out and doing everything on the list. And.... like an idiot... I did. And texted the number given to me and followed all instructions through. All of a sudden, the money was gone from my account and I was $1630 plus a $27 withdrawal fee poorer. I was completely scammed.

Secret Shopper Services
On August 20, 2020 I received by priority mail a check for $2,630 dollars to mystery shop at Walmart and I was suppose to deposit this cashiers check into my account and then go to Walmart and interact with an employee after buying something no more than $100 dollars and then buying at one Walmart store 2 $500 dollar Walmart gift cards and then 2 $500 gift cards at another Walmart and then scratch off the back of the cards and take a clear photo of the front and back of the cards with receipts via text (424) 294-8245 or Email: [email protected] and if I did all of this within the first 24 hours of receiving the check I would earn an additional $100 which would be included in my next survey pay.

I had contacted them off there website and they emailed me back and told me i could buy a pitbull puppy for 700$ with a bunch of information on the dog and it would get flown to my house by whoever they were shipping it through which was e carriers logistics and they had sent me a tracking number and everything through that website and said my puppy would be shipped but later on that day e carriers logistics got ahold of me and told me they could not ship my puppy unless i rented a special crate for the puppys safety and the fee for that was 1575$ and i would get 98% of that back when they dropped the dog off and got there crate back so i had cashapped them the money like they told me to and followed all of there instructions which seemed very legit website and they had told me to watch my tracking number and it should get shipped that morning well here comes morning time and no puppy anywhere my tracking number hasnt moved from the last place it had shown and i cant get in contact with anyone and i have yet to get ahold of them 3 days later so they scammed me of 2275$

Mystery Shopper scam
Mystery Shopper scam! A check for $2630.00 was Sent to me on June 29, 2020. I'm addition, the check was drawn on Suncoast Credit Union from Tampa, Florida.A one page set of instructions were included to take the check for $2630.00 and deposit it into my personal checking or savings account. After making the deposit I was to then text to number (424)294-8245, or email to [email protected], to confirm that I cashed or deposited the check into my bank account. With the $2630.00 I was to go to a Walmart and purchase two (2) Wal-Mart gift cards for face value of $500 each. The bottom line is this mystery shoppers scam is all fraudulent, and anyone that receives anything related to this kind of scam, please do not partake in this! This type of scam can cause anyone that isnt familiar with such fraudulent activity can be taken for a ride, and of course lose a lot of money! PLEASE BE AWARE!
