Reached out w “got your resume” offered “job” at Cryptech as a data entry clerk, told me that work equipment would be sent to me and then suddenly wanted a photo of my ID and my SSN, when I voiced concern they said something about possibility of new hires keeping equipment or funds. I explained that I will not have their funds until services are rendered, will not give SSN until I receive W4 .Became pressuring about “are you ready??” Language of text became awkward like they are from overseas.

[email protected] sent me an email, in my school email account, offering a job for mystery shopping. They sent me a check and told me to buy gift cards and review stores. I thought I waited long enough for the check to clear but I was wrong. They stole $1,700 from me and my 3 children.

Fake Check
The letter states to go to a store that has bestbuy gift cards and to buy 3 totaling 1500$ with a check that this person sent me a total of 1845.49 I included the actual letter! First deposit the check if I do this task within 24 hours I will receive another 300$ bonus I am to evaluate 1or 2 stores ones that sell bestbuy gift cards I am to deduct 340$ for my payment from this check...once I get the cards I scratch them and photo to [email protected] or text only to (424)2606361 told me to keep gift cards as it will be used for next survey assignment. ( see attached for completion instructions I received)
