I was contacted by phone by someone claiming to be a sheriff with a badge number, using the badge number for security. I've gotten repeated calls by two people using a computer generated voice, befriending me and pumping me for personal data. On the second day they wanted me to buy gift card at Walgreens for $500 so they could use three sets of winning lottery numbers for them. Scam alert!
