Kitten Scam
Agreed to purchase a male Balinese kitten from Sweetest Balinese Kittens for $500.00, plus $150 for delivery. Paid $650.00 via a Zelle transfer. Upon discussing and preparing for delivery, was told that I would need to pay $1,550.00 via a bank transfer or American Express gift cards to rent a thermal electronic crate. I declined to move forwarded requested a refund of the $650.00. Sweetest Balinese Kittens has not responded.

They are listing siberian cats and have an automated email. Once you send the money you do not recieve the kitten. Siberian kittens go for 1500-2200 and they are selling for 500 which is already a red flag. They text you once you email them so I was able to acquire their number

Pet Scam
I contacted them about a toy poodle listed for $700 (which is cheap, but amazing if true). I offered to drive down there and pay cash over the weekend, and they said that was fine, but when I told them I would not make a deposit using Zelle or Wells Fargo, they stopped messaging me. I had asked for more pictures of the dog and also for their phone number in case there were issues along the way and waited 2 days to hear back. I had a friend email them about a different dog and they responded rapidly, but with the exact same emails they had sent to me. Copied and pasted. My friend said they only had cash, no bank acct and would come get the dog this weekend. They said another client was interested in the dog and was going to make a deposit on it, so they advised him to go ahead and put a deposit on the dog. When I noticed they were responding to my friend and not me after I had said I wasn't going to make a deposit, I reached out again and requested photos and a phone number again. They told me that another client was interested in the dog and suggested I make a deposit. I said no thanks, I would rather come and see other dogs if that one was sold than potentially fall victim to a scam. They said I couldn't come without a deposit. My friend emailed something similar, and they said they would not allow people to come without making a deposit first via Zelle or Wells Fargo.
