Advance Fee Loan
The terms of the loan, interest rate, and repayment schedule seem very reasonable in the current zeitgeist. They ask for the $9.95 verification fee, which seemed the coin of the realm. This morning, they sent two e-mails asking me to proceed to "STEP 2" - by the way, they don't have my legit e-mail address, though they do have my NYS driver's license I submitted. The SECOND STEP refers you to a different company. They ask for a $100 fee - having read the plight of the poor people on the BBB website, I cut my losses (by the way, they ask for a $1.00 donation for *** ****** ********** ******** - which I gave happily - but another manipulative way they are dealing with consumers in good faith. I can only hope that money goes to the children, for there is already a special ring in **** for these disgusting hucksters. Leading them on, I said I had a question related to the loan (and if a lady is reading this, avert your eyes or forgive me) - I sent several photos of young gentlemen, unclothed in various states of arousal. I felt, at the very least, they were asking for that - and far worse. So they have my ten bucks, I have alerted my bank, and that's that - I consider myself very fortunate to be out ten bucks - but really, I SHOULD have known better, been a bit more skeptical and circumspect - but I feel for these people who lost much more, vulnerable people clearly in dire financial straits!

Debt Collections
Was contacted via facebook messenger by a friend talking about a grant he just received for home improvement. He told me about the program and send a phone number to text for information. Text was responded to by Michael Parker. He asked instructed to send him $850 and we would receive $100,000. When asked for information about his organization and program. He replied that he represented World Wide Agencies . Friends facebook account had been hacked. Received several texts and calls after request to discontinue contact.
