I was contacted by text message from a person claiming to be Dave Johnson, California Powerball Jackpot winner of $699.8 million dollars, in April of 2021. The message was sent from # (336)267-0531. He claims he has spread a lot of his winnings to charities and other recipients. Now he is going to give $500,000 to 10 U.S. citizens, whose text numbers got drawn out with a spin ball. I am supposed to respond to text number (914)520-8356 to communicate with his agent in charge, for confirmation and delivery of my funds. I am supposed to include this code number in my text: B21TUS. But the message does not tell me the name of his agent in charge! So how do I know if this is legitimate or not?
