The call came in and they left a voicemail. They called back from another number. They had a ref # as well as my name and last 4 of my social. I tried to ask who filed a complaint since I was a defendant and they hung up the phone. I tried calling both numbers back and the original phone number 866-801-0001 gives a recorded message that they're unavailable to take calls as they're busy but leave name and ref number. The other number 330-302-8312 when dialed from an unblocked number it rings once and goes silent. When dialed from a block number it rings busy. I recorded the call from the lady at 330-302-8312.

Fake Check/Money Order
I got a text message from a Brandon prove about advertising an Amazon sticker on my car. I would get paid 1000 every two weeks. I got sent a check for 4,950 to deposit. There was a hold on the deposit since it was a lot of money. And the person asked me to send $300-500 of my own money to the installer so they can put a sticker on my car. And I would be reimbursed. I was told that the my bank is taking too long to deposit the check and that they couldn’t wait that long. So they needed me to send that money from my own pocket. After saying I won’t do that and I prefer to wait for the check. He proceeded to tell me I can’t do that job because I can’t send money to them.

ARS Debt Collection Scam
A company calling themselves ARS called to ask me to pay for a credit card debt for a card closed 9 years ago, a card I did not ever remember having. They threatened to serve me a warrant at my workplace for a suit to collect the debt, offering to reduce it by half if I paid now. I checked with all my prior accounts and there was no record of such a credit card or credit history by name and social security. I called the company back and asked for a copy of the overdue statement they were suing me for and a name and address that I could use for communication. At that point they got huffy and threatening to go ahead and sue. When I said they had the wrong person, they told me my social security number. I finally wanted to see the end of the scam so I asked how I could pay it off, that's when they only wanted my credit card number. At that point I hung up. They referenced Capital One Bank, National City Bank (now PNC) US Bank. Used names "Simon Broswell" and "Serena"
