A lady named Sarah reached out to me representingshe was a recruiterneeding my "updated" resume. Her phone number is from Puerto Rico which is even more bizarre, as she represented that she was physically located in New Jersey. She had been working for the company only two months and did not know why they gave her an a phone number. This company has more phone numbers than the White Pages. After sending her my updated resume, I was concerned. I repeatedly emailed her to confirm receipt. Then I contacted the alleged companies support email address asking if a Sarah worked there. Gets more bizzare! I received a text from someone alleging that they worked with Sarah. This number asked for my email address and they would confirm whatever. I replied "If you work with Sarah- you should HAVE my email address." Sarah by the way is from the Philippines. I don't think Sarah is her real name. She emailed me with the name Sarah. They represent that they are recruiters and this is not fair to people who are Desperately Seeking employment at this time. This is not good. She represented to me that she was in fact in New Jersey. This company is on LinkedIn with very strange jobs under the name job tracks and job track. When you call all of the phone numbers available and there are many there is a robot that asks if you know the extension and there is never a person who answers the phone. Any phone. I feel that this is a scam and I don't know what they are going to do with my information. It is very disconcerting that they have my resume. Why would she ask for an updated resume. What are they doing with this information? I think it might be identity theft I don't know anymore. This is horrifying and scary. And I did apply to a company named job works but they are jobtracks. Also I may be charged an international call now calling Puerto Rico. I feel duped and stupid. I am taking all of this time to fill out this form to hopefully shut them down as well as prevent other people from getting scammed. Thank you.
