Secret Shopper Services
I was contacted by a "recruiter" by the name of Jim Clay ([email protected]) and offered a position as a remote mystery shopper. They were offering payments of $300 for "secret shopping tasks" around town. I was instructed to input my credit card information, last 4 digits of my social security #, full address, and mother's maiden name in order to "verify my identity." A large sum of money was then deposited into my credit card account and I was instructed to purchase thousands of dollars worth of Apple Store gift cards. I purchased some of the gift cards before speaking with a friend and realizing that I was part of a scam. All communication with scammers has been blocked and the credit card account has been closed, however I'm not sure what they'll do with the personal information I gave them.

Person leaving VM was Mary Jones and she said to call 323-362-6013 ASAP on 9/13/17. They were in the "investigation dept" of the *** and "if she didn't contact them this would be turned over to the local police dept". All of this was left on VM and she didn't get it until 9/14 late evening.
