Several person in st peterburg florida and westwego, la stated my computer was hacked and install software protect my computer and other devices in January 2024 costing $2496.78. I got call today 4/6/2024 stating my computer was hacked again and need firewall to stop hackers-another $1616 charge for services. I did not paid for possible services on april 6th when I research and found company name, address, and email address changed and I determine this service was a scam for money.

Imposter Debt Collection Scam
I had a family member contact me because this company contacted them. They alleged that in 2014 I took out a payday advance and did not pay it back and so I’m getting threatened with having a warrant out for my arrest if I did not pay $196 today they would not be able to stop the Court action. When I looked up the company, EZ Corp there is not any in the state of Florida where I live. So this has been nothing but a scam.

They have called multiple times trying to get me to commit to pay a debt that is not mine…they emailed me some shady looking email with an account balance of $1678.85 from HSBC from 2015. I have never had an account with them and even called their fraud department to make sure nothing has ever been opened in my name with my social. They confirmed.
