The person asked for a deposit, when a schedule pick up was arranged, was told they were at the vet and there were issue, told we needed to Apple Pay the vet money to pay the bill, when I asked to speak to vet some random person started texting me. I asked for the vet office name and number. Then was told they were closed and now the vet office is holding the puppies until payments are made, I said fine, I will contact the office and go pay the bill and pick up the puppies from them on Monday. I left a message for the vet to call me. Vet called me Monday morning and said they have never heard of any of the people that had contacted me and they would never ask for Apple Pay as payment.

Called and never left messages. I finally answered today and they went flawlessly into their scam pitch. Asked for parent of my daughter BY NAME. They had her name! I didn't give them mine but told them I was her father. Everything sounded legit...except the fact that my daughter NEVER puts my number down for anything. Only her mothers. First red flag. I started asking questions after I put on speaker and sat next to my wife. She said to give them her number and she'll talk to our daughter and verify everything. As soon as I started to let him know this he hung up. They've been calling for MONTHS. Hopefully this ends it.
