Phone call scammer
The caller left the following voice message: "So when you get this message kindly call back to us at the earliest possible before we begin with the legal proceedings on our number that is 281 241 4195 I repeat 281 241 4195. Thank you" I do not answer or return calls to this type of message because I know it's a scam. I'm simply reporting it because I read about the Fraud Free Florida site.

Employment
I applied to a photographer job through craigslist. I received a very strange email saying I got the job, under some incredible parameters, it say I would get paid $350 /day for 3 days on NY. they talk about covering traveling expenses, luggage expenses and my expenses bills. they talk about a travel agent, whose name is not in the email, neither the name of the supposed travel agency. They talk about making a check through USPS. they request my address. The website is not a common website, seems like incomplete. No phone numbers are provided, and how can someone offer s job without even an interview? I strongly believe it is a scam.

The initial contact with this scammer was from a job listing post on LinkedIn. It was a promoted post for www.iqstudio.photography. I sent over my resume and received this email which seemed very odd to me. I decided not to respond to the email and instead they called me. During the course of the conversation I was asked for my social security number to continue the interview and I explained that I wouldn't be doing that and this foriegn man became angry and started to tell me that if I didn't follow through that bad things were going to happen to me. I then proceeded to call him out as a scammer and he became angry. I checked the phone number as well as the company and neither come up as reputable. The phone number is also a burner number associated with a Google voice account or something.
