Job Scam
I received a text from the number (239-677-4875) claiming to be Ms. Melissa Jones from a company called AON LTD. I took down my resume and info on Indeed a month ago and received this text message today. This is the third time I have received a text message about a data entry job in the same way without applying to these companies.

Currently reaching out to you in regards to your resume being approved for the Remote position of Data entry/Administrative assistance role with us, with a pay rate of $36 per hour. Kindly download and set up Microsoft Teams App on your device at https://www.microsoft.com OR Google Playstore / Appstore. Once done you are to add up the HR manager Mrs. Ann Mckinley using this link: https://teams.live.com/l/invite/FEAlsQOowwjUgbBzww and send a message to commence the online interview/briefing and comprehensive job details ASAP,Your job code is V102. Best Regards. Thank you!" As someone else who posted has said, it seems like it was written by AI to have some kind of professional etiquette, but the lack of attention to detail, and the fact that I did not apply to Aon. It also seems that they have a template they use and just insert different company names in the parentheses.

Employment Scam
They contacted me by text. Asked me to add microsoft teams app. Then a lady name Ann McKinley contacted me to do interview by instant messaging. She then said that she wanted to speak to her team and offered me a job. Then stated i would receive an email for employment details. Have not received it yet however, decided to look into it further because i dont feel comfortable giving my info to someone that i havent verified as an actual employee of the company.
