Utility shut off
contacted by phone, notified us that out power will be SHUT OFF at 4pm same day if payment is not made now. said his name was; Christopher Addams, I started recording the phone conversation on my personal phone just in case. I knew this was a scam, so I went along with the phone conversation. after getting some phone numbers to call him back at with an extension, I told him I had to go to another room to get payment. during this time I did call Consumers Energy and verified our company is paid in full and up to date. also let them know about the scam call I just received. I called back #1-231-377-3416 x1221 and again got to speak with Christopher Addams, So I then informed Christopher that I was onto his scam and told him to go ahead and try to shut off our power. haha - he hung up on me. Tried to call that same phone number back and with in 5 minutes it was disconnected. (imagine that) if I could attach the recording I would.
