Asking the company I work for to ship products to Guam by using their personal preference (Global Skyline Inc) and to pay the shipper upon pick up. They wanted to use a credit card over phone at first but when denyed they opted for merchants like: authorize net, chase, paytrace and quickbooks.

Phishing
I first got contacted by a Michael Myers over email. He asked if he could pay by credit card over the phone and for us to provide our business website with our products, which confused me because if he had my email, he should have my website. After providing our website, he asked to buy a large quantity of all our items, and he didn't seem to care about bargaining to get a good wholesale discount on our items but seemed in a hurry to pay. He only wanted to pay by credit card and not PayPal or through our website, and he wanted us to use his preferred shipping company Global Skyline Freights, which only received payment ahead of time even before pick-up. That didn't seem right since normally you can do Freight Collect with shipping companies. With the cost of the item and the cost of shipment to Guam, he would have lost money if he were to sell our product, which didn't make sense. He said the delivery address was to a colleague named Shaun Douglas in Guam (278 Unit C Bello St, Barrigada, Guam 96913). In his purchase order, he had put the company name Trade Coaster LLC, which I couldn't find any information on when googling it and searching businesses registered with the California Secretary of State. So I did some research and found an article (https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonSeller/comments/ubv4q1/scam_alert_shawn_myer_bernard_esser_skyline/) reporting a scam from somebody with the last name Meyer also using Skyline Freights. The description of the interaction was almost identical where the Meyer guy wanted the website address, wanted to order a lot of products, wanted to pay only by credit card, and wanted the seller to pay the shipper directly before pickup. We had scheduled a time to receive their credit card payment over the phone but decided to double check they were a real company beforehand due to all the red flags and then found out it was almost definitely a scam.

Credit Cards
I received an e-mail this morning containing an invoice from PayPal LLC for $369.00. The address of the email was PayPal.com so I thought it was legitimate. It said that if I hadn’t made this transaction I should call 206-360-0075at my earliest convenience. I did that and a person walked through all of the steps without asking for any account information. Gave me confirmation numbers the whole nine yards then had me talk to a manager at 213-283-8043. This person was going to make a transfer into my account but once again didn’t ask for any numbers. The transfer was supposedly coming from Bank of of America. He had me enter only a partial amount 100.00 but it showed a transfer of 10,000.00 !! This person wanted me to then go to my bank in person and withdraw 9,500 in cash that is when I hung up on him and contacted my bank. They immediately closed my on-line accounts and told me that no-one had sent a $10,000 payment but that someone had transferred $10,000.00 from our joint account to my individual account. I had them transfer it back. So as far as I can tell, I have not lost any money. But this man got very threatening after I hung up on him. He started texting that he was emptying all of my bank accounts. He called ME a thief and a fraud. He said said he was turning me in to the police and the FTA and that the police were on the way to my house. Of course by then I had already contacted the local authorities who assured me no one was on their way to my house. This has very much upset my husband who has Alzheimer’s and is now certain we have lost everything. Also, I have saved the emails and threatening texts if you want them.
