VTec imposter
I received an unsolicited call from VTec saying that unless they hear from me within 48 hours they would be charging me $399 for renewal. I do not have Vtec service now, so there is nothing to renew. I Googled them and it is listed as a scam. The number given to contact them is 203-689-7754. Desired Outcome Put them out of business, if indeed there really is a business.

Tech Support Scam

I received a phone call from D Tech Solution. Caller stated I am responsible for $299-$399. Gave a phone number to call back manager Steve Nelson. 203-689-7754. I did not call the number. I am reporting this call. I believe it is a prank. I do not know D Tech Solution.

** Various information on the internet shows that this scammer, "Steve Nelson" also uses the business name V Tech Solutions. The spoofed phone number (203)689-7754 has a New Haven, CT area code.

Debt Collections
gave me information such as "my" case number which was DC45762 and he gave me a warrant number of 00-100-3636. also claimed his badge number was ir-94-11. he intimidates users with the fear of police in a 40 min time frame or a matter of imprisonment for up to 4 years. he has an extension to his number which is 107 and he picked a very generic name which is Martin Robinson. but wouldn't give me an email as only a superior can hand out data like that. he claimed that the mistake was made within a 5 years span from 2011-2016 where my taxes were miscalculated and he also knew info on filing taxes such as 1040 form and 941-c form.
