Identity Theft
I received a call from someone saying they were from Social Security and that there was a warrant out for my arrest and that my bank accounts and credit cards would be frozen until an investigation was complete. I was accused of drug trafficking and money laundering and they said if I cooperated they would transfer me to DEA so I could clear my name. I gave them some of my personal information but no account information. After I hung up I called my local Social Security office and verified that it was a scam. I also contacted the police to notify them of the situation.

Phone rang it was a computerized message saying it was the IRS and I needed to call the number back right away. When I called back they asked for my name. They never left acname on the message which I thought was ofd. They said they were calling from the IRS snd there was an arrest warrant out gor me for defrauding the IRS of $6900 and that I had to pay today so they could cancel the warrant. When I daid could I make payment arrangements she said I had to pay $1500 to make attangement. Upon asking for her siperbisor she gave me the name Jacon Black and the phone fied when she transferred.

I received a call that said I was awarded a federal grant $7,800 and I had to pay $290 by Moneygram. They told me to call the Federal Reserve at 2024369071. When I called the Federal Reserve, I was told to call 3474414043 and talk to John Ridel. Ridel told me I had to send $695 to get the grant.
